ICHR-23 Concludes with a Resounding Success
The 23rd International Conference on Health Research (ICHR-23) concluded on June 22 with a closing ceremony attended by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali and caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan.
The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the rendition of the national anthem. Dr. Sami Saleh Khan hosted the event, which included speeches by Dr. Ghulam Rasool, the Patron of ICHR-23, and Dr. Arif Alvi. In his speech, Dr. Rasool thanked all participants for their contributions to the conference and highlighted its significance. He said that the conference served as a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and advancing medical research.
Dr. Arif Alvi paid tribute to Rehman Medical Institute and Rehman Dental College (RCD) for organizing the research conference. He shared his valuable insights on the subject matter, further enriching the intellectual discourse surrounding the event.
In recognition of their remarkable contributions to their respective fields, lifetime achievement awards were bestowed upon Prof. Dr. Tariq Mufti, the Academic Advisor of RMI, and Prof. Dr. Jamil Ur Rehman, the Principal of RCAHS. During the ceremony, shields were distributed to honor the distinguished guests of honor, core committee members, and organizers of ICHR-23.
The conference was a success, and it served as a platform for advancing medical research in Pakistan. It furthered the mission of RMI Hospital in promoting excellence in healthcare and education.
